Opel Vectra speedometer. Published by manual-mecanica

Good morning, I have an Opel Vectra 2.0 16v dti and the problem I'm having is that the speedometer and tachometer are stuck at the bottom; they won't move. The speedometer is rattling a little and making a slight noise.
Can you tell me what might be causing this?

Regardless of whether it's a Vectra B or C, you'd need to use a diagnostic tool to access the Instrument Cluster and check the parameters to see if the speed and RPM signals are being received, and then test the gauges.
It's possibly a problem with the instrument cluster itself, because otherwise the ABS light (which is where it gets the speed signal) and the engine light (which is where it gets the RPM signal) would also be illuminated.
