What happens to me by throwing engine oil? Posted by manual-mecanica
I have a 2007 Ford Ka when measuring the motor oil was close to the minimum of the measurement rod ..... See it with the neighbor and he told me if he needs like a liter .... Buy the engine oil that the car uses the car and I throw all the pot because it was one liter ... the carro ?? or I leave it so until it goes by spending only the oil ???

Manual-Mecanica response on the subject that happens if I spend engine oil?
FRIEND INGROMERO2010 The ideal is that it is in the maximum brand, it is not good for it to be past oil. The greatest inconvenience you can have, so with a finger as indicates, is that the oil comes out through the cranks of the crankshaft, and eventually you have to change them.

If you leave it like that, do not spend alone, do not lower its level (unless you have an oil consumption per boat or rings, hoops, motor segments).

You must get the oil through the carter and place the exact measure again.

Greetings

good to all.
The problem is if it carries turbo, when the engine already has wear, a lot of gas is accumulated in the carter, which is evacuated by the engine vent, over time the vents are a bit closed from the carbon, the burned oil and those things, when the oil level is very high makes there less place in the carter compartment for the gas, sometimes, the carter takes pressure and the ceite rises through the tube of return of the turbo, Taking the retention segment and causing the oil to reach the admission, greetings.
