Greetings friend. If you already have the time chain that joins the crankshaft with the camshaft with the two synchronized pinions, what the crankshaft should turn with a dice in the engine strap wheel (or Damper), and without the spark plug must be verified with a long screwdriver the movement of the number 1 piston that is the one that is after the radiator by your radiator by your left hand if you are stopped in front of the vehicle. While an assistant turns the crankshaft little by little, you verify that the piston reaches its maximum height and this is that when the piston goes up and when it reaches the upper dead point it begins to descend. You must return it to the upper dead point.
Then place the distribution if the lid and verify that the rotor points to the exit of the spark plug number one. This verifies it with the lid to see what is the spark plug 1 that must be marked in it.
Remember that as the piñom of the distribution that sicronizes with the camshaft is of the elicoidal type, you must introduce the distribution turned a little while behind the point of the spark plug number 1 so that when the distribution falls thoroughly, the rotor points exactly to the spark plug number 1 because if you are not going to keep the rotor pointing a little later and so it will not turn on you.
The distribution has a bond that keeps it exactly in place and does not need adjustment to advance the ignition since this is done by the computer.
