Peugeot 406 TD injection pump. Published by manual-mecanica
Hello, I have a 1998 Peugeot 406 2.1 TD and the injection pump recently broke. I found one at a junkyard, but it's not pumping diesel. I've been told I might need the immobilizer code from the car that had the pump. Is that possible? The problem is that the vehicle in question has keypad activation, or is it simply unrelated? I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

You need to remove the protective cover on the diesel fuel inlet solenoid; that's the immobilizer. It has two headless screws; you need to remove them to be able to disassemble the immobilizer. Good luck.

In the 2.1 engine the antiarranque system is in the injection calculator.
