Help RenaultGran Scenic does not start

Hello, this is my first time posting here. I'm David, and I have a Renault Scenic 1.9 dCi that won't start. I was getting fault code P0340, which indicates a camshaft position sensor malfunction. I replaced the sensor, checked the wiring, and everything seems to be working correctly, but it still won't start. Now it's not showing any other fault codes, but it still won't start. It tries, but it just can't. It seems like the common rail high-pressure pump isn't drawing fuel. Has anyone else experienced something similar? I've checked the glow plugs, and they're working.
