Ford Focus won't start. Posted by manual-mecanica
I have a problem with a Ford Focus. It was running normally and suddenly shut off. Upon inspection, the only thing out of the ordinary was a sensor near the injectors that was disconnected, but even now, with it reconnected, it won't start. There's no power at the spark plug wires or the fuel pump.

I would greatly appreciate your opinions and advice.

Manual-mechanics response on the topic Ford Focus won't start
Hello Mr. A, check the crankshaft position sensor (measure its resistance between pins 1 and 2)
and the camshaft position sensor resistance.
Check the fuel injection relay (we don't know your engine model).
Check the anti-theft function (coded key, etc. - this requires Ford software) to see if the warning light comes on. We need more information to determine your car's fuel injection system and engine model in order to help you. Regards!

Generally when injector and pump signal fails it is for something electric that can be from a fuse, contact sheet, relay, etc. and as Ismael Czech says that the immobilizer is not active
