Damaged tensioning pulley published by Manual-Mecanica
Greetings ... I would like to know if someone can guide me on how to change the tensioning pulley of the alternator band of a Chevy Monza with A/A, the pulley was twisted and therefore the alternator band was reduced by half in half by friction with the engine structure. Is the chamba complicated? Do you have to change only the pulley or with the whole base? How expensive will it be?
Thank you.

Manual-Mecanica response on the subject Damaged Tensioner Pulley
Hi Soulreaover, I do not think it brings you more complication to change the pulley, which if I point here, that it is not normal for this "crooked", try to tighten the central bolt of this, it was not that it is loose, if it is not so, when it is clear, you will have to check the bolt is not folded, and the state of the washers (if it carries).
Here I send you a drawing of how the belt goes in case it serves you. Greetings and that is good !!!

Thank you very much Ismael53, I had not had the opportunity to answer you in advance (personal problems), it served me the diagram that you attached to place the band correctly. Thank you again.
