Problem at Ford Focus 2012 2.0 GDI published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello everyone, I have a problem with a 2012 focus, according to the client some witnesses of the board lit up and the car was with little power, turned it off and turned on again and everything ok. Well the scanner throws codes in the area of cuminication between modules.
DTC CPI (control module instrument board) U0073 BUS "A" COMMUNICATION OFF. In the rest of the control units there is no other code. (In total, the scanner detects 13)
Additionally I did the manual procedure of diagnosis of the instrument board and throw code C073_88 according to what little I found on the Internet corresponds to the same thing that throws via scanner. The car does not have any apparent malfunction symptom, before taking out the module from the board I would appreciate very much if someone could share info about a similar problem in some Ford, in advance thanks and happy holidays.

Hi Kikemec, thanks for answering. As of the Estraer the Board's module you are right for that reason I have not done it until I informed myself well. In any case in the Sacanner I have the possibility of getting ECUS that work in Can nets, but I agree with Tigo that is not to play. With respect to symptoms, the truth is that they go and bain (intermittent. The only thing that I noticed was that the traction control system works erraticamnte, I have tried several and although they are different from each other, it does not generate the same answers in similar conditions. The client, super rich, is testing the self, does not want to take it to the concessionary and the truth is that I am waiting for the fault Clarity

Schest for what you say can be even a false contact, if there is any bad comments if you turn it off and it would be the same and not improved, it can be a land or something like that.

Hi Kikemec, I agree with you that it is most likely to be a bad contact, due to the intermission of the fault. But I don't know how to review the IPC contacts without correcting the risk you describe, but I must diagnose. Greetings.
