Manual-Mecanica Response on the problem Matiz G2 year 2006 (Pontiac)
The little device you mentioned that vibrates is the fuel vapor purge solenoid valve or canister. If the pipe is cracked, it's letting in air and causing an erratic idle. I think you've found the problem. Regards, Miloc.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the problem Matiz G2 year 2006 (Pontiac)
Greetings! Well, in this model the IAC valve is electronic, that's why I couldn't see it anywhere. They calibrated it with a scanner or reset it, whatever it was, and it's working fine now. The mechanic didn't charge me much, 150 Mexican pesos (about 10 US dollars), and it's working perfectly. As for the other problem, it was the belt (the one that connects the engine, AC, and power steering, something like that). It cost 116 pesos. By the way, I found a video explaining how to change the lint filter, which was completely clogged with dirt, which is why the AC wasn't working properly. Now it's freezing! This filter is located behind the glove box; it's easy to remove, but I didn't know that: Dry: . I appreciate your help, and I hope my experience, even though it's limited, helps me understand this vehicle a little better. Greetings! P.S. ismael53 , yes, I already changed the The hoses looked a bit damaged, cracked, although it still vibrates. I don't know if any of them are still getting air, since it doesn't seem to be the original one, and when I put the other one on, well, it didn't work either, since it's wider on one side, so it was difficult to install, but it seems to be secure. Well, at least it's not malfunctioning anymore:lol: . Cheers!
