Air leak in the Iveco truck circuit published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello, how, I have a truck with more than 20 years, it is an Iveco series of 11,000 kilos, although the daily filming is about 30 km the truck has its wear, right now I am trying to correct a leak that it has in the braking system (compressed air) the problem it has is that when I leave the truck parked, at 5 minutes I look at the manometro and it has no drop of air, it loses everything.

all the best

Manual-Mecanica response on the air leakage theme in the Iveco truck circuit
Hello Tronh,
check the pneumatic installation and search for air losses, if the suspension is full and empty the tortpress (air cushions) since it can lose at a certain height (use soapy water) .- Check the air silences of the valve and if you do not hear anything removes the air of the air compressor and verifies that the air of the circuit does not become valves. Badly

I hope I have been helpful

Manual-Mecanica response on the air leakage theme in the Iveco truck circuit
Hi Josegti, I read your answer as soon as I send it, forgive has not answered you before, first tell you that my truck carries hydropneumatic system, these trucks have a double -body bomb in the brake pedal in which their corresponding piston are hosted and their toric valves, this is changed and the leak disappears, the case is that this last time this did not work, I went to the Iveco and I told me the case and told me that Being such an old truck the piston wearing the bomb body and there loses the air, when I turn off the truck I hear the air that comes out through the leftover and I think it is damaged air, I do not know if it will be correct, the case is that if it were the pump it is more worth the necklace than the dog. Greetings and thanks
