Mazda BT-50 Timing Chain Published by manual-mecanica
Hello everyone, I have a question. I own a Mazda B2600 pickup truck, which is mechanically the same as the BT-50. My problem is that I removed the cylinder head because it was leaking a large amount of oil from the exhaust valve. The valves have already been reseated, and new valve stem seals and guides have been installed. Now I need to reinstall the cylinders, but I'm having trouble timing them correctly. If I align cylinders 1 and 4 at top dead center (TDC) with the camshaft sprocket mark at the top, the truck won't start. Could someone tell me how to do this or provide me with a manual that shows the timing diagram?
