VW Bora goes out

I tell you that I have a small problem with my Bora 2.0 cc; It happens that when 1/4 tank has left, or a little less fuel, the car is usually stopped (as if it had no gasoline) .This will start, it starts without problems, as if nothing happened, and it can fail again or not .. the tank is clean, there are no traces of water, it has the corresponding breakwater and the fuel pump is new original.
The level marker works perfect, and if I have more than 1/2 tank, there is no problem.

What can be happening?
