Problems Correa Alfa Romeo 2.4 JDT published by Manual-Mecanica
Very good! I am new in the forum.
I tell you I have an Alfa Romeo 2.4 JDT, and good as it has its distribution strap and then it has another belt that calls it a belt of the balanced axes, or so I think, that it is taken in the crankshaft, and if I am not mistaken alternator, bomb and something else. Having I know that the distribution strap has a "draft" bone a specific position so that the valves do not crush with the cylinders etc.
I would like to know if that belt of the balanced axes happens to him, the same thing needs a draft (some concrete brands)
I explained you were going, the vehicle began to make noise and suddenly that noise marked and the direction of the car began to go super hard, more than a car without assisted direction.
Total that I observed that this Eqil axis strap. It wasn't.
My question is can I change it (how)? Is it very complicated, do you have some type of draft?
I have to take something into account that maybe I don't know?

I hope you can help me, I would appreciate it very much.

Thank you for your attention and I hope you understand something that I wanted to comment.

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the topic Correa Alpha Romeo 2.4 JDT
Hi Martona, because of what you say, the strap that moves the hydraulic pump is cut (the one that pumps the oil of the hydraulic or assisted direction) and perhaps that of water or perhaps not because it depends on the type of motor. Well, in one of the elements that moves the belt you lost there must be a tensioner, it can be the same hydraulic pump as when the tensioner is released that is a loafer then you can put the new strap, which you must buy for the model or by the Correa code which I suppose you do not have. When riding the belt you must tighten what is necessary and squeeze the tensioner bolt firm. That's all I hope you help

you: you should look for the cause for the previous belt to be cut
