Hi guys, sorry to bother you, I have a problem with my 1995 Renault 19/RN diesel. A few days ago it started stalling. The thing is, it starts, but after about a minute it starts sputtering and then stalls, or the RPMs drop, it makes a rumbling noise like an old Bedford, and then it stops. If I use the bleeder valve, the RPMs go up and it idles fine. Could someone help me? I'm going crazy! I tried using a bleeder valve because I was blowing into the fuel inlet hose to the pump and the diesel was leaking back in, but it's not doing that anymore. I also changed the fuel filter. I noticed some diesel leaking where the throttle body is on the injection pump, where the accelerator cable connects. Could it be getting air in there? Thanks in advance!
