Cabin fan. Published by manual-mecanica
Hi, I'm Javi. Today the heater and air conditioning fan in my car stopped working. I have a Renault Megane III Coupe Dynamique. I'd like to know which fuse I should check or if anyone else has experienced something similar. I can adjust the climate control and the fan speed, but it doesn't respond. I can turn on the air conditioning, but it doesn't blow a single drop of air.

Thanks, regards.

Manual-mechanics response on the topic of cabin fan
Remove the potentiometer and bridge it by connecting the wires together.
If the motor runs, the potentiometer is broken and not allowing electricity to flow.

If the motor doesn't run, check if it's receiving power.

It's usually the potentiometer that gets clogged with dirt or breaks.
