Power loss in Ford Transit 97 TD published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello everyone, I wanted to tell you what happens to a Ford Transit 2.4 of the 97 td of a friend ... The symptomatology is clear, it has a loss of huge power, I tell you ... you go by putting the marches and the first journey of each march does so with loss of power but not so much and reached the second half of the journey of the march (50 km/h in 3rd, 70 km/h in 4th) You have to put the next march to raise the speed ... it has the motor failure witness.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the lost power of Ford Transit 97 TD
Hi Pedro I had the same van but without turbo and also had the same symptom, with the tracheteo a nut of the No. 19 that is opening the hood, just a span below the end of the windshield moon, in the center looking at her in front, can be seen with the naked eye. It is incorporated into the tube of a circuit placed on the thermacustical insulator of the cabin and when the engine is badly closed when you climb the revolutions a bit. Believe it and see what happens, luck.
Salu2 J.Klon
