Change Audi A3 2004 steering wheel with change palettes

Hello, I hope I can help me, I changed an Audi A3 2004 3.2 its original steering wheel with changes of changes for another newer steering wheel with pallets of changes and audio controls, but now the changes of changes do not work. I expected the audio controls, but the palettes yes. Has anyone done successfully modification? ... do you know if I have to change the harness, module or something else? ... will they have the # of part? ... thanks a thousand !!! ... sds.
