Good day friends, I'm writing to see if you can help me with my question. I have a 1992 Toyota Corolla, automatic. Since I've owned it, the car has been without a thermostat. They say it runs better that way, and since I'm in Venezuela, the climate is warm, and it ran wonderfully. Now, I installed the original Toyota thermostat so my car would run as it originally came. However, the car feels sluggish when accelerating. Before, it moved smoothly and you could feel the engine's power. Is this normal, or do I have to wait for the car to adjust to this new part? I've already checked that the thermostat is working. When the engine is cold, the coolant temperature is static, and after a while, the temperature rises to just below halfway, and you can see the water moving. This suggests it's working correctly. I hope you can help me solve my problem. Greetings.
