Two-cylinder misfire in a Chevrolet. Posted by manual-mecanica
Help, gentlemen! It's a pleasure to greet you all. I want to thank you in advance for reading my message. The issue is this: I have a problem with a 2004 Chevrolet Colorado. The problem is that two injectors aren't working at low RPMs, but they do work if I accelerate to 3000 RPM. I've already replaced the computer, swapped the ignition coils, swapped the injectors, and replaced the crankshaft sensor, but nothing has worked. It's always the same problem, and the scanner is showing code P0315, which, according to my scan, is the crankshaft sensor. But I don't know what other tests to do; I'm getting desperate. Help! :(

Did you check for an injection pulse at the two connectors that are having problems? Perhaps the excitation signal isn't reaching the injector. Also, check the compression in those same cylinders; it might be an engine problem and not an injection issue. Check it and let us know.

Did you check the sensor? Are the injectors not working at low speeds, or do you think they aren't? Is there spark at the wires you mentioned for the cylinders that are misfiring? Because from what you're saying, that crankshaft sensor sends either a cutoff signal for the spark or a pulse to the injector.
