Manual-Mecanica Answer on the topic Speed Speaker in Scenic
Hello partner, the thing is not as simple as it seems, if your Scenic does not have a speed sensor in the gearbox, as you say it will take the speed signal of the ABS captors, but if it had a bad collector, the light of the ABS would turn on in the painting and should continue to mark speed since it carries 4 captors and it would be bad luck that they all spoil all at once.
From what I deduce from your message, if the problem is that it does not mark a speed in the painting and the ABS witness does not turn on, you should discard the wheel captors and review other things such as the same picture, the electrical wiring, etc., in addition to seeing if any fault code has been generated referring to the problem in the ABS, engine, etc.
First of all make sure that you do not carry speed collector in the change.

If your Scenic is a card, the signal is taken from the ABS, but the ABS light should turn on if the wheel sensor is evil, as they have told you.
If it is the key, before 2003 I think, you can take it from the ABS or the box sensor. Make sure, since the box sensor mounts it next to the connecting rod or central leg. Depending on the engine you access from the lower engine, by the back of the box.
This component fails a lot in the Renault, the original reference ends in 919 here in Spain.
