Toyota Land Cruiser automatic box failure

AUTOMATIC BOX PROBLEM TOYOTA LAND CRUISER 2002 (AUTIANA); When the truck is put in D (Drive) the coupling with the transmission is very strong (the engine rpms in normal 800 or 1000) everything else is normal, changes etc. My question is, there is some way to regulate or modulate the coupling in the box, thanks.
