I have a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the 4.7 V8 4x4. I have two problems with it. One is that on hills that aren't too steep or long, about 10 km, the engine overheats to almost three-quarters full, even with normal, light acceleration. The other problem is that when turning left at a normal, not particularly high, speed, it stops accelerating even though I keep the pedal pressed. It happens intermittently; it stops accelerating for two seconds, accelerates for two seconds, and then stops accelerating again, repeating this until it exits the curve. At first I thought it was a system to prevent skidding or something on curves, but it only does it when you turn left. I don't know if you have any solutions or ideas about what it could be.
