Megane 2 steering out of time. Posted by manual-mecanica

Hi everyone:
I have a friend with a Megane 2, and he removed the steering rack to repair it because it had play. He didn't put the steering wheel in neutral, even though the manual says the correct steps. I haven't reassembled the car yet because I want to know how to find the correct position. Can anyone help me, or is it okay that the steering wheel position is incorrect?

The only way of knowing the number of positive or negative degrees of your steering wheel is through a scanner I do it with autoboss
