Peugeot 306 stop light Published by manual-mecanica
: Ohmy: Hello, I have a 2001 Peugeot 306 XRBREAK 1.6 and the STOP light has come on. The manual says "Centralized warning indicator" indicating it's imperative to stop. What could be causing this? Is it serious for the vehicle?

Manual-mechanics' response on the topic Re: Peugeot 306 stop light
Hi magago2009, having the stop light come on isn't good, not for your car or any other. First, you should check if the stop light is accompanied by any other warning lights, such as oil pressure or engine temperature. You should take your car to a garage as soon as possible to have it checked, as the problem could be with an engine sensor, a lack of coolant or a low level in the radiator, or something more serious that could cause a much bigger breakdown. Let us know what you find out.
