CORSA 2004 Motor is grabbed by Manual-Mecanica
Hello everyone:
I tell you a 2004 Corsa with a strange fault, when you start it in cold without any drama when it reaches the regime temperature, the relash is unstable and very low, as if it were with Mescla rica, in addition if you stop and want to go back. The engine is so heavy that the start cannot turn it, also at that time if you want to turn it with a pulley key is very heavy.
The Duño told me that the only drama he had was well, in the morning when he started he hit him a while, I send a mechanic to change the bumps and also the mechanic iso to change the albol of cams, when I remove the mechanic I started the drama, I ask them in case something like this happened to someone. Well I hope you can give me a hand with this problem.
Thanks greetings.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Corsa 2004 Motor grabs
I advise you with the hot engine loosen the camshaft benches and try to turn the engine with a key it is very possible that when changing the tree does not find the adjustment lights respected. Check the tree but it has marks to grabbed. For the symptoms you have there is a problem with a piece that when dilated grabs (tree, hoops, pistons, bearings) if the story that the previous owner has the previous owner was the reality will be the camshaft but you will have to review other parts with movement inside the engine ...

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Corsa 2004 Motor grabs
Hello, in your place I would take him to a trusted mechanic, to perform an exhaustive control, because as Jorge471960 says in the previous post, the pieces that can be grabbed by dilation should be reviewed.
I would also check the oil pump, and the oil itself, because it seems that with the temperature you lose lubrication, as if the oil lost its viscocity, or as if the pump did not send the optimal oil flow, and began to be friction between the pieces.

Good luck. Greetings from Córdoba, Argentina;)

First thank you x Repander:
I stipulate the same if the mechanic touched the cylinder head and from there the drama, it is very possible that the problem was radiated there.
The oil bonba also changed the mechanic is what the owner told me, it is also noted that I raise the cylinder head because it has a new joint, it does not want to take the mechanic again because it is being spent a lot and is worse, it is also heard as if it is hitting a piston bolt or caught it at the end of the race. I will have a hug as this topic.
