ADD Control System of the Toyota Hilux 2011 Published by manual-mecanica
When I engage four-wheel drive in H4 or L4, the front differential doesn't engage, and the four-wheel drive indicator light on the dashboard doesn't illuminate. Does anyone have a diagram of the system in PDF format that they could send me? The part number for the system actuator is 41400-35031, and the vehicle is a 2011 Toyota Hilux. Thanks in advance!

You need to make sure the front differential motor doesn't have water in it, which is most likely the case. Check the motor connector to see if the wires are broken;
sometimes these wires get stuck together in front of the engine casing. These wires are connected to the alternator wires.
Remove the glove box on the passenger side; behind it is the 4WD control unit. Turn the ignition off, activate the H4 light, and then turn the ignition to the "on" position. Inside the 4WD control unit, you should hear a clicking sound like an internal relay. If it does, the control unit is working correctly. Check the wires and the motor for water damage. Let me know if you have any questions.
