Inertial switch published by Manual-Mecanica
Does anyone know if it is possible that the uncertain switch of the fuel pump of a Twingo can be activated without having suffered an impact, or having tried to run rally?
My brother's health status can depend on the answers he obtains.
I lent him the car before yesterday, I found no traces of accident and he assures me that he did not hit him or walk doing cross country and it turns out that the fuel was cut in the middle of the route, without explanation.
The front train was made again 2 months ago and the technical verification was approved, but today I go outside and it seems that I am driving a gelatin dish ...

I thank you now

If it is possible that they are activated alone on the occasion, it can also occur, but you also have to check fuses first of all you want to be cut, the pump can be dead, or it may also be that the vehicle alarm, if with a manufacturing alarm and with an incorporated anti -theft, this causing the failure.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: inertial switch
Thanks for your answer. The pump problem was corrected by pressing the inertial switch button. Everything else is fine. Until now I had never failed and today I tried it and did not bother again. My problem is my brother who tells me that he did not walk jumping with the car and I don't know if to believe him. That is why I ask if there are possibilities to activate alone.

Hello, the inertial is activated by vibration because when you grab a half large well it does not firing being about to jump and then by vibration triggers it happened to me in a Ford Ka.

Yes, if there is the possibility that is activated alone, it happened to me as in 4 vehicles of different brands.
