Greetings. That tool you refer <is to immobilisar the axes at the time of installing the chain tensor. It would be enough to look for ways to immobilize them with another mechanism

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: Ford Explorer
Thank you very much Lega but I think that I explain the tool to which I refer is to install the camshaft synchronizer that is something like a distributor with a sensor at the top and at the bottom it has a gear like the one that the distributor of a de facto golf has the function of a distributor ... the one that has changed a camshaw synchronizer has the tool since when you buy the new synchronizer brings the tool for its installation ... I hope they can help me thanks article.mercadolibre.com.ve/MLV-3930345...As-Ford-Explorer-_JM In this link you can see which synchronizer I mean.

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: Ford Explorer
I have an equal engine in the explorer which I did completely two years ago, when I disarmed I made a plan with different brands and references.
I do not remember well but I think it was the piston 1 on compression and it had to shed the scratch that is seen by the acrylic of the sensor's caps, but I do not know if it will be the same one that you have vos because some have the black tapping instead of transparent.

That sensor is the one that commands the injection time and not of ignition as it seems, in fact when you are toured and does not produce progress or delay as a distributor

with all respect what Lega comments has nothing to do with
greetings
