2nd speed of the A/C electrovaller

Hello, I have a problem with the A/C in my 1997 Honda Civic. To begin with, it's not cooling very well. They recharged the refrigerant, but it's still not cooling properly. They checked it again and told me that the second speed of the electric fan isn't activating. This is because the pressure gets too high, causing the compressor to stop working until the pressure drops and it restarts. They told me to take it to an auto electrician, but I'm not sure if it's worth fixing given the car's age. That's why I'm asking for your help if anyone has experienced something similar. 1. The pressure valve isn't sending the signal, or the relay for the second speed is bad; you need to locate it.
