SEAT CORDOBA 1989 Published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello friends, I need your help,
I have a Seat Cordoba in 1989. A few days ago I started with this problem:
at any time, no matter the speed at which this is going, suddenly it goes out, as if it had run out of fuel.
I have electrical energy but it does not start again if not until after about 10 minutes or so. Sometimes the problem is repeated again and I have no choice but to wait.
I thought of the beginning that it was the gasoline pump, change it and nothing, also change the relays of the gas and carburetor pump but nothing.
About 4 months ago I changed the electronic coil, so I would discard that for now, or what do you think?

Apparently you changed everything, check the ignition pill of your car that is not damaged by experience I tell me a car to me a few days to the workshop that I gave up it from everything but that tries to move the key to see if you do not find any false internal contact in the pill greetings. And good luck with your problem

Thank you very much for your answer Joseserrato. Do you think that is the problem? I tell you because the inexplicable thing is that it does not start again but I hope about 10 or 15 minutes, it starts ... it's like waiting for something to "cool."
On the other hand, and forgive the question, where is the ignition pill located?

As I said it could be because you changed almost everything. The p your car is already electronic? The ignition pill is just below where you put your key to turn on your car, go the cylinder key and then the pill is round between 50 and 100 Mexican pesos try to turn on your car since this turned on moves the keychain or the key trying to find some false contact, if it goes out it is the pill or the cylinder intedates by Hay. If you do not see an electric.

Hmmm if you changed the coil check that it is connected the earth that wears .. If that land is not connected, the coil is rehearsed again and it is heated again .. the hot beret does not work ..
