INMOVILIZER INJECTOR PUMP COMBO 1996 1.7D PUBLISHED BY MANUAL-MECANICA
Hello.

I have a question, to see if someone can clarify, please.
I have changed to my father's Opel combo the full engine set plus gearbox of another damaged combo.
After finishing the work, when it comes to scratching, the engine did not scratch and I have realized that the new engine injection pump that I have put carries an immobilizer with a electrovalve with a plug with 3 cables, to the comparison with the old engine that its pump did not carry immobilizer and its electrovalve carried a connector only with a cable.
The immobilizer carries a plastic box and the electrovalvula is not seen as the other pump that does not carry immobilizer and the electrovalve is seen and can be disassembled.
The question is, can you remove the electrovalve without immobilizer from the old pump and put the new one instead of the immobilizer?
Or do you need to leave the pump with immobilizer and also change the wiring with the other car's immobilizer switchboard?
Thank you

You would have to disassemble the starting encoder of the injection pump that has some anti -theft screws you would have to drill them to be able to disassemble the encoder. At the continuation of the three cables that connects the encoder one of them has contact current because approve to feed the election

Thanks Davidxauen.

Well, I have done, the difference that I have broken with a hammer the plastic that carries the chip on the electrovalve, because it did not have enough space to drill with the engine already mounted in the car. And yes, I have plugged the cable that came out only after the chip with the car cable and everything has been fixed quickly.
All the best:)

Well, the valve itself has only one cable, but the immobilizer has 3 that go to the car immobilizer switchboard.
What do you want to do exactly?
