I request help to know why my Ford Ikon 2006 is heated, check if the fan works and if it works but the temperature needle continues to rise to the red point, I do not know if it will be the thermostat and/or the water pump would appreciate its valuable opinion about it.

To know if it is the pump or thermostat, take out a hose that reaches the Embase then turns it on if water comes out is not the pump is the thermostat
