Peugeot 307 HDI 110 hp

Hello, I have a 307 HDI 110 hp. The breakdown I have is that when I put the air conditioner on the driver's side I get hot air through all the aerators, to the maximum temperature and the maximum speed. On the co -pilot side, for all aerators too, it works perfectly.
In a Peugeot workshop they told me that the repair would be around € 1,000. Is this like that? Do you know what it can be?

On the driver's side it works by throwing air as hot and the maximum speed. On the co -pilot side it works perfect. It is a bizona air conditioning.
