Hi friends, I have a problem with my Ford. I had it scanned and the code is P1000 OBD systems readiness test not complete. The engine is overheating and the cooling fan isn't turning on. It's a 2005 Ford Escape with a 1FM V6 engine. Thanks for your help.

See if my answer helps you. I had the same problem. I checked the temperature sensor and it was working. Then I checked a relay and that was it. In either case, buy original parts

Ideally, it should be fixed correctly, but sometimes computers don't send the signal to activate the fan, which means removing the computer and repairing it. A parallel installation can be done for the fan to function, but the problem is that the check engine light, if it's on, will remain on.
