I have a problem. My car's timing belt broke. I understand that if that happens, the engine is beyond repair because they're interference belts. My question is, what other engines can I install besides the exact same model it came with? I downloaded the manual from this page, but I can't figure out if I can install a different one

Hi jjgarcia.
I don't know why you say the engine is finished if the timing belt breaks. As far as I know, the damage caused by the broken belt is repaired, a new one is installed, and the engine continues as before the damage. It's best to get another mechanic's opinion.

Good night Jjgarcia as Servilimit tells you the damage caused by the breakage of the belt and ready keep in mind the origin of the breakdown. This is always cheaper than changing the full engine.
