Manual-mechanics response on the topic Re: tin body in the crankcase
Hi, nothing should happen since the oil pickups have a screen that prevents foreign objects from passing through. Unless the object is very large and gets stuck during movement or completely blocks the oil pickup.
Check the vehicle specifications to see what shape the oil pickup has and what the oil pan is like to make sure there's no problem.
Regards.

Manual-mechanics response on the topic Re: tin body in the crankcase
Good evening. As my colleague said, nothing should happen because the oil pickup has a screen, and I don't think anything will happen due to movement either, because the washer is heavier than the oil and will always be at the bottom, and it's a good distance from the crankshaft.
All of this assumes you're sure it's reached the oil pan.
If you ever have the chance, remove it and take it out, especially to be on the safe side.
Best regards.

If it were mine, I would immediately remove the oil pan and take out the washer, because although the filter prevents fuel from passing through the pump to the crankshaft, the washer can jump off, on a bump or any other sudden movement, etc., and get stuck between a connecting rod or piston.
