Toyota Celica 1993 Engine Overheating - Posted by manual-mecanica
Thank you for your time. The car's electric fan is running constantly because the valve is faulty. It works fine in the city, but the temperature tends to rise when starting on any hill or incline. The radiator has been cleaned, and the electric fan and water pump have been checked and are all fine. I would appreciate any help you can offer.

Manual-mechanics' response on the topic Re: Overheating of the Toyota Celica 1993 engine
Hi Julius, I had a similar problem a while ago with a Corcel LDO. I disassembled the radiator, cleaned it, changed the head gasket, and took the head to two machine shops to check for cracks. I bought a used one since the car is old and new parts aren't available. I took it to another machine shop, and finally, this person discovered a crack that the pressure test hadn't detected. It was repaired, and that solved the problem. I hope this helps. Regards.

Verify the thermostat, and the pump checks if the palettes are good and do not give you enough flow to cool the engine
