How to replace the window regulator on a Smart Fortwo? Posted by manual-mecanica

Hi, I need to replace a window regulator on a Smart Fortwo and I have no idea how to access it. At the moment, all I know is how to remove the outer door panel and see the regulator, but it seems to be riveted on the other side and I have absolutely no idea how to remove it.

If you have to remove the rivets and it comes off when you put it back on, and you can't put the rivet on top because the rivet gun won't fit, you can put a screw in, although it's a pain to change. Secure it well and before assembling it, test it with the glass to see if any wires cause problems
