Manual-mechanics response on the topic Re: NISSAN QG 13 HAS NO POWER
Hi Edgar2011.
With 150 lbs. of compression, there's still life in the engine. Let us know if you have smoke and what kind. It's a good idea to check the ignition timing, as it could be advanced. Incorrect valve adjustment can also be a factor. Good luck.
Miguel

Manual-mechanics response on the topic Re: NISSAN QG 13 HAS NO POWER
I agree with what Mr. servilimit wrote...and I'd like to add the following...you also need to specify if it has an automatic or manual transmission...because if it's manual, you'd have to check its condition and how long it's been in use...since it's very likely that the clutch disc is worn, slipping, and there isn't good power transmission from the engine to the wheels. You should also check the engine's operation in relation to fuel pressure or any malfunctioning sensors...You need to see if the check engine light comes on on the dashboard...and lastly, it's preferable to use at least 95 octane gasoline...I hope these humble comments help you, and please provide more details about your situation so I can continue assisting you...Regards...Jorge.

Manual-mechanics response on the topic Re: NISSAN QG 13 HAS NO POWER
Hello, I don't know what vehicle it is, but if it has a problem at idle or high RPMs while stationary, it needs to be repaired. The most common cause is the ignition system: a wire with high resistance, a weak spark, or a spark plug with high resistance, which causes spark leakage through the coils inside the distributor. If everything else is okay, you can check the camshaft actuator; this works to increase power at medium and high RPMs. And it's a diesel. I'm sorry, I can't help you.

Manual-mechanics response on the topic Re: NISSAN QG 13 HAS NO POWER
Okay, let's start with the basics: check the fuel and air filters, check the fuel pressure, and the ignition coils and spark plugs. Check if the electrodes are carbonized, preventing a good electrical arc. And of course, check the transmission and the check engine light...
