Why is it so difficult? Published by manual-mecanica

Hi, lately it's rare to find the static timing diagram in workshop manuals, even though it's an important part of engine knowledge. Why is it so hard to find them until the engine has been in production for many years? It's easier to find them in automotive magazines than in a workshop manual! This is a bad sign.
