Hello, I have a 1995 Renault Laguna 2000i petrol engine and the muffler is perforated. I'd like to know if this affects the engine's power or fuel consumption. Thank you very much. I look forward to your reply

The muffler doesn't affect the engine's performance at all when it's broken; it only affects it as the exhaust pipe breaks closer to the manifold, but not at the muffler itself.
