The Blazer is overheating. Posted by manual-mecanica

My Blazer is overheating, and I've already replaced the water pump and thermostat, and I've checked the radiator and it's fine. What could it be?

Check if the electric fan is running; if it's not, check that the viscous coupling is working. If everything is okay, check that the oil is not emulsified, that there is no oil in the water, and that there is no compression in the water system. Any of these characteristics being positive indicates a problem with the head gasket.

Sorry for the abbreviation, the electric fan is the fan that works by electricity and the viscous fan is the fan that works directly with the water pump and is located opposite the radiator.
