I make a question .. I have a multi -brand scanner with certain communication protocols which does not read all vehicles .. I wonder if I buy an adapter cable for another vehicle model I also need the software? Can the adapter be attached for example from OBD2 to not one of 3 pins? Or do each cable need your scanner?
