I recently made an adjustment to my Kangoo Diesel 1.9 year 2000. When starting white smoke in large quantity and the engine was unstable, in the same way I went out and tried it, without any other problem than the white smoke.
Checking I noticed that I lacked connect the engine RPM sensor, that is, the one that goes in the steering wheel. I connected it and immediately the smoke was completely removed.
The problem is that now when I bend the direction towards any of the sides the engine stops, the only way it does not stop is to have it "accelerated ultra".
