how to try the alternator published by Manual-Mecanica
The other day when we walked with the car (Ford Escort 94) we stopped due to lack of battery we measured it with a voltimeter and marked less than 13V. Accelerating it marked 12.5 V then we disarmed it, we took the alternator but it cost us a day of laburoXD and there was a de -dried cable but now how did we try that?

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: how to try the alternator
You have two oppositions the easiest is to put it in the car and make it walk to see how much load it throws, it must be within 13.5 to 14.5, the other is to put the alternator in a bank feed it with 12 volts current where it corresponds to the alternator and turn it with a drill and measure the load is much easier to ride it in the vheiculo.
