Luv Dmax Motor 3.5 Published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello, please for whom I can guide me, I have a Dmax Motor 3.5 year 2007, I made the engine, because the camera on the pilot side trancked, rectified the block, the oil pump was changed, the entire engine was armed and performs a perfect ignition, but it has a rattling in the cameras, they tell me that it is necessary to calibrate the valves, I have consulted several mechanics and all have different opinions, the last one was It is in the packaging that presents a very small perforation where the oil flows and that can be the Sonico strong, if someone can help me a lot I will know how to thank you.

I guess you changed the pistons and the butt was rectified the hole I think not because it is to lubricate the rockers and that packaging has only one position, you checked the thickness of the packing was the same if it was not rectified a cylinder head.
Let me know then I have shown several of those engines.

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: Luv Dmax Motor 3.5
Greeting. I have a Luv D Max Double Cabin, 3.5, 2008.
Since I bought it, observe that I consumed a lot of oil, it evaporated it, recently and despite the fact that I was very aware of its maintenance and oil, the oil light turned on, and then the camera camera was tranco on the side of the copilot. The chain of the times and caused important damage. I would like to know if the oil pump could have had something to do.

The oil pump has nothing to do with consumption, consumption, not loss, oil consumption is by rings or by valve seals and now.
