Fuel consumption. Published by manual-mecanica
I have a 2007 Ford Explorer with very high fuel consumption and it has codes P0191 and P0452. I've changed the fuel rail sensor, fuel filter, and fuel pump, but it's still the same. Can anyone help me or give me an idea of what it could be? Thanks in advance.

Manual-mechanics' response on the topic Re: fuel consumption
Hi Cristian, from what I can see, both fault codes point to something in common: a fuel issue. One indicates a fuel pressure problem, and the other relates to emissions (EVAP - gases from the fuel tank). Check if the return hose isn't kinked along its entire length, and check the fuel pressure regulator to make sure it's not clogged. Check those points and let us know how it goes.
