It trembles a lot. Grand Am 2000 "Problems" published by Manual-Mecanica
Greetings, I have a great AM 2000, it was very heated, and yesterday they made the change of the water pump and some packaging of a blissful "spider." The problem is that after that I set my car and began to tremble a lot, and I asked the mechanic that, what happened, he replies that apparently they are the packaging that the heads have (which were supposedly trying to pass water and went out through a spark plug and that you have to put some new packaging in the heads, my question is:

1.

true of the packaging or can it be something else? Pontiac Gran Am 2000 Machine 3.4 -6 cylinders in advance thank you very much.

Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: Tremble a lot. Grand Am 2000 "Problems"
Greetings. I have three consultations:
1.- What packaging changed? What is the Arña in question?
2.- Just in case, it will not be that the tremor in the engine comes from the other way and not as a consequence of the latest changes they made?
3.- Where do you feel the tremor: in the engine or in the body? An option can be the bushings of the motor supports. When they are very hard because the engine makes the entire car vibrate.
Knowing this, it is easier to locate the origin of your problem

Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: Tremble a lot. Grand Am 2000 "Problems"
Greetings When there is an overheating in the engine, the packaging or packing of the cylinder heads can suffer but this does not always happen the tremor may be that a cylinder is left for the cylinder to see for the fault in the butt ... Now the strange thing that I see is that the fault must have been presented from the reheating when the failure fails the fault begins ... of course I can not give you an exact information I examine it but in part the mechanic is right if these packages really were ... The cost of fogs is not very high

Hello, according to comment, the engine is covered from there the fault, is it like that? If it was, then a cylinder is not working at 100, this can be verified if the refrigerant moves as if it were boiling, of course with the engine walking in its temperature. Now, the Board walk around 800 pesos, I recommend permatorque. These vehicles are high working temperature, so the manufacturer recommends the use of special refrigerant, buy it in the agency, it is worth 400 the galon. But you save more using it than paying repairs. But I have a question, the bomb broke down and began to throw refrige. there? Another, you bring 6 cyl. 3.1?
I recommend that when you consult something as possible since year, mod. Motor, transmission. and exactly ppoporction that occurred or how the fault was given. Thus, many can help you, I, I am at your service in any doubt that you have.

I forget to commit that if refrige is not happening, there may be an empty leak in the packaging of the admission manager, check it before something else. You can also take out the spark plugs and examine them well, especially when you throw the engine walk, turn it off and let it cool, take out one by one not forgetting its place and look for traces of water. The spark plugs say more than you imagine. luck!
