Thank you for your interest, the truth is that I don't know much, those of the workshop have not opened the engine to know it, but it says that when the distribution strap is broken and left, the valves have been nailed and what opens, I suppose that it is normal when breaking the belt or can it be that changing the belt and putting it at its point start the engine? I await your answer and thanks

Hello, well what the mechanic has told you is true, modern cars are very delicate therefore if you break the distribution strap, because what happened to you happens, if the pulleys have bother you you will have to take them out and put them new. Do not think that putting the new strap will start your cohe, it is more I would recommend that you do not try, you could annoy much more the annoyed. As for the repair, because it is expensive, but if you have a mechanical friend, to take a look at the car, while you disassemble it to fix it then better, but surely you can yourself, with passance and with time, good luck !!
