Hello friends I have a Seat Ibiza of 98 TDI 90CV and I started to sound a meguino belt that is the alternator since the light of the battery lights would like to know if it is the same strap that of distribution and the possible solutions to this problem

Do not be up, the alternator is one that of the distribution is covered and it is dentated, it only releases the tensioner, take out the lternator strap and change it then tense the new and now.
